On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the Opening Meeting for the 2025-2026 Academic Year was held at our Vocational School with the participation of our University Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Gürel. In addition to our Rector, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Uğur Şimşek and Prof. Dr. Haktan Sevinç, as well as the University Secretary General Ahmet Kızılkurt also attended the meeting.
The meeting began with an opening speech by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ekrem Gürel. In his speech, our Rector emphasized the successes of our Vocational School in its education and training activities and stated that quality-focused work would continue in the new academic year. Afterwards, our Rector greeted our faculty members individually and engaged in cordial conversation.
During the rest of the meeting, the requests and complaints of the academic and administrative staff were listened to, creating a constructive dialogue between the university administration and the staff.
The event ended with a cake-cutting ceremony organized to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our Vocational School this year.
